Senior Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in technical discovery by converting product requirements into feasible solution designs and implementation strategies.

• Manage the technical delivery of intricate enhancements and major workstreams, overseeing everything from estimation and solution design to release.

• Document and make technical design decisions across various platforms such as Business Central, integrations, APIs, React Native, TypeScript, iOS, and Android.

• Create and evaluate complex changes in AL, React Native, TypeScript, integrations, and APIs.

• Decompose large technical projects into manageable deliverables, identify dependencies, and communicate potential risks prior to sprint commitments.

• Provide mentorship to Associate Developers and Developers through design guidance, collaborative work, code reviews, and constructive feedback.

• Lead efforts in debugging, testing, performance analysis, secure coding practices, and maintainable implementation strategies.

• Ensure that automated tests, technical documentation, deployment notes, and rollback considerations are thoroughly completed.

• Oversee technical responses for high-impact defects and production incidents, which includes conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective measures.

• Review architecture and code for consistency, reusability, scalability, platform compatibility, and long-term maintainability.

• Enhance development standards, reusable components, CI/CD practices, release procedures, and team documentation.

• Manage mobile architecture and release readiness, including building, signing, testing, store submissions, rollouts, and updates for the Apple App Store and Google Play.

• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to discuss estimates, dependencies, technical risks, and delivery options.

• Assist in technical planning, estimation, hiring input, onboarding, and the development of engineering skills.

• Communicate technical trade-offs and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in independently delivering complex production software and leading significant features or technical workstreams through design, development, testing, release, and support.

• Advanced proficiency in at least one primary RUX technology area, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL or React Native and TypeScript.

• Capability to work efficiently across integrations, APIs, source control, automated testing, and deployment processes.

• Strong skills in technical judgment, debugging, solution design, code review, mentoring, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience with SaaS or ERP products, AppSource, Apple App Store or Google Play releases, CI/CD, security, performance, and RUX customer industries is preferred based on the assigned product area.
