Senior Developer Analyst, COBOL, Mainframe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain routines using COBOL.

• Ensure the reliable functioning of essential systems.

• Fulfill the company's processing cycles.

• Work in collaboration with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in mainframe online processing.

• Proficient in batch processing.

• Familiarity with databases.

• Understanding of event-driven processing.

• Knowledge of DB2.

• Proficient in COBOL CICS.

• Experienced with JCL.

• Knowledgeable in COBOL Batch.

• Familiarity with MQ Series.

• Understanding of Natural.

• Familiarity with CONTROL-M is preferred.

• Knowledge of VSAM is preferred.

• Familiarity with NATURAL is preferred.

• Understanding of ROSCOE is preferred.

• Knowledge of RDZ/IDZ/KDZ is preferred.

• Familiarity with T-REXX automated testing is preferred.

• Strong and clear communication skills, particularly in Agile teams.

• Ability to work collaboratively with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams.

• Proactive and autonomous in addressing complex challenges.

• Capacity to adapt to changes in technology and methodology.

• Analytical mindset focused on performance and scalability.

• Function as a developer in a Scrum team, with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
