Senior Developer Advocate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Gain an in-depth understanding of GitLab's platform, particularly its AI agent functionalities, and pinpoint effective real-world applications.

• Produce videos, blog articles, presentations, and social media clips that showcase GitLab use cases within the user interface and terminal.

• Script, record, and edit product demonstrations and walkthroughs.

• Work alongside GitLab's video team on longer or high-production projects.

• Present product demonstrations and engage in analyst briefings.

• Interact with customers through webinars, meetings, and various discussions.

• Participate in developer communities via forums, Discord, social media platforms, newsletters, and events.

• Address technical inquiries from the sales team.

• Collaborate with support, sales, and product teams on educational content aimed at developers.

• Provide product feedback to product teams and test new features.

• Engage in technical research and analysis of the developer tools landscape.

• Travel up to 20% for events and customer engagement.

• Practical technical experience in understanding the software development lifecycle, focusing on all phases following code completion.

• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and its applications in software development, from coding to production.

• Experience in building and managing agentic systems and infrastructure.

• Capability to clearly articulate technical products through demonstrations, walkthroughs, or presentations at conferences.

• Proficiency in developer-centric social platforms.

• Background in engaging with customers, developers, or technical communities.

• Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating with sales, engineering, product, and other teams.

• Expected to integrate AI into daily tasks and workflows.
