Senior Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation, integration, administration, and ongoing enhancement of Autodesk Vault.

• Ensure data integrity and configuration control through management of document lifecycles, revision control, workflows, user permissions, and engineering records.

• Act as the primary technical resource for users of Autodesk Vault and Autodesk Inventor.

• Offer troubleshooting, user assistance, training, and guidance on best practices.

• Monitor and audit Vault data, workflows, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards, security protocols, and quality objectives.

• Create, maintain, and update detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and technical documentation utilizing Autodesk Inventor.

• Collaborate with teams in engineering, manufacturing, quality, and configuration management.

• Execute senior-level drafting and design tasks when full-time support for Vault administration is not required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma.

• At least five (5) years of experience working with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.

• Experience in creating and maintaining engineering drawings, 3D models, assemblies, technical documentation, and product data within a PDM environment.

• Understanding of engineering drawing standards, document control procedures, revision management, and configuration management principles.

• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, and related CAD and engineering documentation tools.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Preferred: ten (10) or more years of experience in drafting, design, or related technical fields.

• Preferred: an active Secret Security Clearance.

• Preferred: experience in supporting the implementation, integration, administration, or migration of Autodesk Vault.

• Preferred: experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing PDM workflows, document control processes, and configuration management practices.
