Senior Defensive Content Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and implement live-fire cyber ranges and threat-hunting scenarios for enterprise-level training.

• Work collaboratively with engineers from various teams including engineering, infrastructure, product, and marketing.

• Participate in and assess advanced Sherlocks, competitive CTF tracks, and extensive Pro Labs scenarios.

• Investigate new vulnerabilities, contemporary exploit methods, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), as well as real-world threat actors.

• Rigorously assess complex cyber ranges and threat-hunting laboratories.

• Enhance the defensive capabilities of enterprise organizations through engaging cybersecurity experiences.


⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and expertise with defensive security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Wireshark, Volatility, Autopsy, and IDA.

• Proficient in detection engineering, digital forensics, and malware analysis.

• Demonstrated experience in creating content for Cyber Ranges, Capture The Flag (CTF) events, or interactive educational platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of operating system internals, enterprise applications, and system administration.

• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, VMware, and cloud computing platforms.

• Self-driven, organized, and passionate about cybersecurity education and gamified learning.

• Full professional command of written and spoken English.

• At least 2 years of practical experience in real-world Defensive Security Operations, SecOps, SOC, or Incident Response (preferred).

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and orchestration tools like Terraform and Ansible (preferred).

• Preference may be granted to candidates who have previously submitted content or can demonstrate related offensive or defensive content engineering work.
