Senior Deep Learning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement fundamental algorithms for deep learning, computer vision, and inverse procedural modeling using Python.

• Leverage machine learning and computer graphics research to tackle practical challenges.

• Utilize linear algebra, probability, and geometry to create robust systems.

• Collaborate with cofounders to grasp product vision and convert customer needs into technical milestones.

• Engage with remote systems through a Unix shell to deploy and evaluate code on extensive geospatial datasets.

• Create 3D content tailored for customers.

• Manage source code and organize intricate implementation tasks using Git.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.

• Over 3 years of pertinent industry experience in a dynamic, high-growth technology setting.

• Demonstrated experience as a Deep Learning Engineer or Applied Research Engineer.

• Proficiency in training and troubleshooting artificial neural networks, or related experiences, such as gradient descent, nonlinear optimization, or classical machine learning.

• Strong mathematical foundation encompassing linear algebra, statistics, probability, and numerical methods.

• Proficient in Python, Git, and Unix shell environments.

• Preferably experienced with modern C++ for interfacing with data ingestion and product pipelines.

• Background in complex multidisciplinary fields like robotics, smart grids, precision agriculture, game development, or aerospace is valued.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and work closely with a founding team.

• High attention to detail and capability to meet critical R&D milestones in an early-stage startup setting.
