Senior Data Solutions Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead collaborative efforts with Data Software Engineers, Data Architects, Capability Managers, and other team members to gather capability requirements and promote data and reporting solutions.

• Develop and sustain data sets, operational reports, and analytical dashboards.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related challenges, delivering data-driven solutions.

• Offer business and subject matter expertise for project and production activities involving complex issues and strategic initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to required standards and secure necessary project approvals.

• Collaborate with business areas, customers, partners, vendors, technical staff, and project teams to enhance value, return on investment, and innovative solutions.

• Assess alternative and vendor solutions, including cost-benefit analyses and pros/cons evaluations.

• Oversee requirements testing, including test plans, scenarios, documentation, defect management, and results analysis.

• Conduct requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, report project statuses, enable vendor solutions, and maintain accurate documentation.

• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction in Data, Product, and Technology Solutions.

• Mentor Associate and Intermediate Data Analysts.

• Lead project teams or act as a subject matter expert on moderately complex cross-functional projects.

• Resolve intricate, multi-system issues and deliver root cause analysis and corrective action plans.

• Analyze market trends to generate competitive insights and business value statements.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual and access obligations.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Systems and Technology.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proficiency in report writing.

• Experience with SQL.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in place of a bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred: 3 years of experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

• Preferred: 3 years of experience in the Health Insurance or Healthcare industry.

• Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Preferred: Six Sigma certification.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
