Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Analyze the features influencing vehicle prices and forecast future values.

• Develop and implement AI/ML solutions that process, connect, and enhance automotive data on a large scale.

• Utilize LLMs, text and data mining, along with traditional machine learning techniques to identify anomalies and interpret vehicle data.

• Perform advanced model evaluation and optimization.

• Oversee controlled rollouts of data modifications from testing and approval stages through to post-launch monitoring.

• Maintain documentation of preprocessing logic, quality metrics, validation outcomes, and change logs.

• Lead and manage intricate end-to-end data science initiatives.

• Collaborate with technology and engineering teams to refine existing processes and create new ones.

• Partner with the product team to generate analytics for innovative product offerings.

• Leverage Python and SQL for sophisticated data manipulation.

• Utilize Snowflake as an AI data cloud platform.

• Generate Tableau visual reports to summarize insights and ensure transparency in data pipelines.

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting.

• Develop machine learning models that are deployed in production and have a direct impact on core automotive data products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years with a Graduate degree.

• Over 4 years of experience working with large and complex datasets in structured, semi-structured, and unstructured formats.

• More than 4 years of hands-on Python programming experience in data science.

• At least 4 years of experience with database systems such as MS SQL, Snowflake, or MySQL.

• Practical experience with advanced AI/ML techniques in data processing.

• Capability to explain technical processes to a non-technical audience.

• Experience in presenting analytical insights to internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English.
