This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead data science initiatives focused on creating business intelligence solutions.

• Conduct data mining, data analytics, and predictive analysis across various systems and databases.

• Detect trends, relationships, anomalies, and fundamental data patterns.

• Formulate, interpret, and communicate results into actionable insights for audits and investigative decisions.

• Present findings both verbally and through visual aids, including graphs, charts, and interactive mapping.

• Compile written reports.

• Assist the Offices of Inspectors General and the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee’s Pandemic Response Center of Excellence mission.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Must reside in the United States, specifically in Maryland, Virginia, DC, North Carolina, Florida, Texas, or Alabama.

• An active Secret clearance is strongly preferred.

• At least two years of experience in training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models using Databricks, PySpark MLlib, and Unity Catalog, with recent involvement in the past 6 months.

• A minimum of five years of continuous, hands-on experience in developing analytic rules and models with advanced fraud analytic tools and industry best practices.

• Five or more years of continuous, hands-on experience in data management and advanced analytic methods, current within the last 6 months.

• Five or more years of continuous, hands-on experience in utilizing data science to proactively identify, detect, and prevent fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement, current within the last 6 months.

• Five or more years of continuous experience working collaboratively in team settings and independently.

• Experience with at least two additional software packages and/or programming languages from R, Python, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, and SAS within the last 12 months.

• Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, and Unity Catalog.

• Familiarity with Neo4J is an advantage.
