Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Analyze features influencing vehicle pricing and forecast future values.

• Develop and implement sophisticated AI/ML and traditional regression models.

• Perform comprehensive model evaluation and enhancement.

• Maintain documentation of machine learning workflows.

• Oversee and coordinate intricate end-to-end data science initiatives.

• Work in tandem with technology and engineering teams to optimize existing processes and create new ones.

• Partner with the product team to generate analytics that drive new product development.

• Utilize advanced feature engineering and AI/ML model-building skills.

• Employ Python/R and SQL for sophisticated data manipulation tasks.

• Leverage extensive knowledge of Snowflake and other machine learning frameworks.

• Produce visual reports in Tableau for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Contribute ideas within the team to enhance predictive algorithms.

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and generate reports as needed.

• Implement machine learning processes into production on AWS and create monitoring tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Graduate degree.

• At least 4 years of experience handling large datasets.

• Over 4 years of experience with statistical programming software; Python/Spark is preferred, while R and SAS are advantageous.

• More than 4 years of experience with database software such as MS SQL, Snowflake, or MySQL.

• Strong ability to convey technical processes to non-experts.

• Experience in delivering presentations.

• A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for resolving data-related challenges.

• Preferred experience with automotive market data.

• Professional experience in deploying cloud-based ML Ops systems is a plus.

• Preferred experience using Claude in ML or Data Science projects.

• Examples of data visualizations that can be shared are preferred.

• Experience in deploying machine learning models into production with an API is preferred.

• A PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
