Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage with business stakeholders to grasp objectives, articulate ambiguous inquiries, and define projects as well-structured modeling challenges.

• Develop and implement production-ready models while overseeing outputs and monitoring for drift.

• Convert model performance and outputs into practical insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Assist in enhancing team ML infrastructure by writing and maintaining code and dbt models for Data Science metrics and features.

• Collaborate within the Data Science team and across functions to improve data collection, create data assets, proactively identify and rectify gaps, and provide insights on business strategy.

• Establish yourself as a reliable analytical partner for external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience, with strong expertise in Python and SQL.

• Solid foundation in study design, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and research methodologies.

• Capability to collaborate with non-technical personnel and lead presentations of findings to colleagues across the organization.

• Proven ability to consistently deliver thorough, high-quality modeling work from start to finish.

• Experience in a start-up or growth-oriented environment is essential.

• Healthcare experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and/or Tableau.
