Senior Consultant, Data Science – Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and implementation of sophisticated machine learning, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence solutions.

• Set technical standards, establish reusable best practices, and develop solution-design methodologies.

• Provide technical leadership across various projects.

• Oversee the complete delivery process from defining problems and designing analytics to production implementation and continuous enhancement.

• Assess emerging technologies and pinpoint opportunities to enhance automation and analytical capabilities.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business leaders on technical solutions and cross-functional initiatives.

• Communicate analytical findings, business implications, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Mentor and coach team members, facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, and offer technical expertise in recruitment efforts.

• Shape technical and strategic decisions across teams and business areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience related to data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics.

• Four to six years of experience in data science, machine learning, advanced analytics, or a related field.

• Proven experience leading intricate analytics or machine learning projects from design through development, implementation, and delivery.

• Experience in providing technical guidance, mentoring peers, and fostering knowledge development within a team.

• Ability to transform complex business challenges into analytical solutions and effectively communicate recommendations to a diverse set of stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling.

• High proficiency in Python and Structured Query Language (SQL).

• Familiarity with BigQuery and contemporary machine learning tools or ecosystems.

• Experience working with cloud-based artificial intelligence and data platforms.

• Proven track record in developing scalable, production-grade machine learning solutions that meet quality and performance standards.
