Senior Data Scientist – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create AI agents in Python utilizing LangGraph and LangChain.

• Convert business requirements into implementation strategies and outline execution plans alongside the Product Owner and technical team.

• Construct analyses and recommendations to aid in the prioritization and management of purchase orders.

• Integrate agents with the organization’s systems and leverage data from the data lake in partnership with Data Engineering.

• Design agent workflows that facilitate direct system interaction, including orchestration mechanisms when required.

• Collaborate with LLMs, manage prompts versioned in code, and maintain execution logs to ensure traceability, continuous improvement, and simplified debugging.

• Prepare applications for operation in development and staging environments, incorporating them into existing deployment workflows with assistance from the platform team.

• Create AI agents tailored for the Procurement function of a partner in the agribusiness sector.

• Develop solutions to analyze and prioritize around 1,000 purchase orders daily.

• Provide recommendations for buyers, pinpoint inventory optimization opportunities, propose transfers between units, and enhance supply terms.

• Contribute to defining the technical strategy and developing the solution in collaboration with the Product Owner and Data Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level expertise in Data Science or AI solution development, with practical experience in building agents.

• Proficient in Python with experience in LangGraph and LangChain for developing agent workflows.

• Practical understanding of language models and the integration of agents with enterprise data and systems.

• Familiar with Linux environments, including WSL on Windows workstations.

• Possess the autonomy to structure solutions in scenarios where technical steps are still being established, complemented by strong communication and collaboration skills with Product and Data Engineering teams.

• Knowledgeable in Langflow for low-code agent development.

• Experienced with Apache Airflow and DAGs for task orchestration and system integration.

• Familiarity with consuming OpenAI models via Azure Foundry.

• Knowledge of Docker and applications integrated into automated deployment workflows.

• Background in developing solutions for purchasing, procurement, inventory, or decision support in high-volume operations.
