Big Data Lead, MDM, PySpark

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide technical direction for the Data Foundation platform

• Oversee engineering delivery and ensure quality

• Direct the team in constructing and sustaining enterprise data pipelines

• Create and uphold data products, canonical data models, and data services

• Facilitate analytics, AI, integration, and operational reporting

• Collaborate with the Service Owner, Architecture Team, and Platform Engineering Lead

• Deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable data solutions that comply with enterprise standards and strategic goals

• Guarantee engineering execution, solution quality, and operational dependability

• Cultivate a high-performing data engineering team

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level

• Extensive knowledge in data engineering

• Strong expertise in modern data architectures

• In-depth understanding of distributed processing

• Proven expertise in engineering excellence

• Practical experience in technical leadership

• Background in developing and maintaining enterprise data pipelines, data products, canonical data models, and data services

• Familiarity with Big Data, MDM, and PySpark
