This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee the design, execution, and enhancement of sophisticated Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Create and implement strategies for data protection in both cloud and on-premises settings.
• Suggest and execute improvements to enterprise document labeling, classification, and handling procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive DLP documentation, which includes configurations, policies, and incident response protocols.
• Lead the analysis and documentation of intricate or high-risk DLP alerts.
• Offer mentorship and technical support to analysts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from Privacy, Compliance, Legal, and IT departments.
• Develop and manage DLP metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems.
• Keep abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements that affect data protection.
• Adhere to all policies and standards, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Systems, Cybersecurity/Information Security, Privacy, Risk or Governance fields, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data governance, data protection, information security operations, or a related technical field.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated data environments is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of data classification, data sensitivity, and secure data handling practices.
• Candidates must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without the necessity for employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• Preferred candidates will have extensive experience supporting or leading data protection or information security initiatives in complex regulated environments.
• Experience in owning or leading components of a data protection or DLP program is preferred.
• Experience in designing, tuning, or optimizing enterprise data protection controls is preferred.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding other analysts is preferred.
• Experience in applying AI-assisted tools to DLP operations and implementing AI risk controls for AI/GenAI data protection is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Privacy, Security, Analytics, or other industry-related areas are preferred.
