This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the coordination of the 340B Drug Pricing Program for eligible entities across the WVU Medicine Health System.
• Assess operating and regulatory compliance procedures and controls.
• Conduct continuous internal audits, data analysis, and operational evaluations.
• Establish systems and processes to mitigate program liabilities and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion.
• Examine utilization records and 340B purchasing accounts.
• Track monthly and annual 340B participation reports.
• Execute monthly compliance audits of contract pharmacies, hospital-owned retail pharmacies, specialty pharmacies, and hospital mixed-use pharmacy.
• Audit the eligibility of patients, providers, and locations.
• Oversee purchasing records, utilization, savings, problem areas, and discrepancies.
• Manage 340B Program software product mapping, charge codes, and ratios.
• Maintain, test, and validate 340B Split Billing Software and its integration with pharmacy software.
• Supervise purchases for contract compliance, 340B compliance, and accurate pricing.
• Assist covered entities with reporting, data requests, and inquiries.
• Upload purchase data to the 340B Split Billing Software on a monthly basis.
• Conduct mapping verification audits.
• Provide buyers with information and support for 340B ordering.
• Review product accumulations and ineligible claim data.
• Complete reporting for single-dose vials and waste input.
• Update charge-code billing units from Epic in split-billing software.
• Generate ad hoc reports for program optimization and compliance.
• Carry out targeted audits, negative audits, referral process development, suspect pending claim reviews, accumulator reviews, and compliance audits.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, finance, or pharmacy.
• Capacity to handle and maintain confidential information.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and assignments.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills essential for effective communication with all management levels.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be capable of sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to engage in prolonged computer and telephone use.
• Must be able to navigate throughout department work areas.
• Full-time position.
• 40 scheduled weekly hours.
