Senior Data Intelligence Analyst – Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Collect and evaluate requirements from business stakeholders.

• Convert business inquiries into KPIs, analytical models, and reporting solutions.

• Create and manage business and semantic data models.

• Develop governed measures and calculations utilizing DAX.

• Construct dashboards, reports, and reusable analytical products in Power BI.

• Conduct thorough analysis and convert findings into actionable business insights.

• Confirm data, calculations, and conclusions with relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain consistent KPI definitions across reports and business functions.

• Independently oversee analytical solutions from requirements gathering to production delivery.

• Work collaboratively with Data Engineering on data availability, structure, quality, and transformation requirements.

• Produce clear documentation for semantic models, business definitions, KPIs, and analytical products.

• Assist in preparing Power BI semantic models for AI-assisted and natural language analytics.

• Contribute to the establishment of scalable and governed BI practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficient hands-on experience in Power BI development.

• Advanced skills in DAX.

• Strong SQL proficiency.

• In-depth knowledge of semantic and dimensional data modeling.

• Experience in designing fact tables, dimensions, relationships, and star schemas.

• Proven track record in defining and governing business KPIs.

• Capability to translate complex business requirements into practical analytical solutions.

• Experience in owning BI or analytical products from start to finish.

• Strong data validation and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and challenge unclear or inconsistent business requirements.

• Proficient in professional English.

• Preferred experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Preferred experience with Fabric Lakehouse and OneLake.

• Preferred experience with Power BI Direct Lake.

• Preferred experience with Delta tables and medallion architecture.

• Preferred experience with Dataflows Gen2 or Fabric Data Pipelines.

• Preferred experience in migrating from Snowflake or another analytical platform to Microsoft Fabric.

• Preferred experience with Power BI Projects (PBIP).

• Preferred experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD practices for Power BI.

• Preferred experience with AI-augmented analytics or Power BI Copilot.

• Preferred experience in preparing semantic models for natural language interaction.

• Preferred experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar AI integration.

• Preferred experience with clinical, healthcare, operational, or multi-country business data.
