Senior Data Intelligence Analyst – Health Equity Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with end-users to establish moderately to highly sophisticated business requirements, data definitions, business rules, and data quality standards for enterprise data intelligence initiatives.

• Develop specifications for reports and analyses that align with business and clinical demands, utilizing available data elements.

• Generate datasets, reports, ad-hoc requests, dashboards, and various other analytic outputs.

• Perform data analysis to support diverse analytic solutions.

• Write and analyze moderately complex SQL code and queries, tackling intricate problems using both internal and external data sources.

• Manage data-request intake while gaining a clear understanding of business needs.

• Leverage healthcare expertise and critical thinking to propose effective solutions.

• Deliver both quantitative and qualitative analysis, reporting patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.

• Engage in re-engineering operational workflows alongside end-users and business stakeholders.

• Lead and assess process and requirements analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, and specification collection for complex projects.

• Offer recommendations based on current and anticipated data.

• Act as the primary vendor-support contact for larger, more complex projects and critical issues.

• Oversee relationships with external vendors.

• Provide guidance and leadership in quality assurance and testing initiatives.

• Direct complex integrated testing processes and manage testing projects.

• Contribute to strategic discussions by identifying potential options along with their advantages and disadvantages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with SQL.

• Proven proficiency with query tools such as Python, R, Oracle, SAS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL, and Tableau.

• Practical experience conducting reporting analysis and developing custom reports.

• Understanding of healthcare applications and the needs and priorities of patient care providers.

• Familiarity with patient-care databases, hospital administrative applications, and data warehousing technologies.

• Experience in analyzing Clarity report requests, Reporting Workbench requests, and Radar build requests.

• Technical expertise in Reporting Workbench and Radar build.

• Capability to teach advanced Reporting Workbench and Radar build concepts.

• Experience developing Epic Inpatient Clarity reports is highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Epic Clarity Certification is preferred, with a preference for Epic Inpatient certification.

• SQL Server certification is preferred.

• Must reside in an approved remote state: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, or Texas.
