Senior Data Integration Specialist – Smart Grid Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Join a dynamic team currently consisting of four members.

• Create digital twins of clients’ electricity networks using Venios.Net.

• Design and take responsibility for both functional and technical architectures.

• Integrate various data sources and systems including GIS, SCADA, metering systems, asset data, as well as weather and forecast information.

• Validate incoming data for accuracy and reliability.

• Collaborate effectively with project management, product management, development teams, DevOps, and clients.

• Serve as a technical sparring partner to enhance project outcomes.

• Participate in pilot projects and implementations as part of the implementation team.


⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in a STEM discipline, ideally in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.

• Several years of programming experience, particularly in high-level languages such as C#.

• Extensive experience as a data integrator, system integrator, or in a similar capacity.

• Familiarity with complex data models, integration architectures, and APIs.

• Ideally, knowledge of the energy sector or smart-grid environments.

• Understanding of electricity grids and geographic information systems is beneficial.

• Strong grasp of IT architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data structures.

• Excellent command of both German and English.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.

• Must be based in or authorized to work in Germany or Austria.
