This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Act as the primary owner of the official data repository (Golden Source) for the Security, Fund, Counterparty, and Pricing Master Data domains on the Private Credit platform.
• Establish and uphold data standards, naming conventions, required attributes, and validation procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance of corporate issuer and credit borrower structures and hierarchies.
• Perform research utilizing public records, official documents, and rating agency information.
• Create, implement, and enhance automated data quality controls, exception reports, and alerts.
• Document, monitor, and resolve exceptions through root-cause analysis.
• Uphold Maker-Checker processes, maintain audit trails, and provide supporting documentation for audits, SOC controls, and regulatory assessments.
• Serve as the Brazil-based liaison for New York teams across Trade Support, Middle Office, Portfolio Finance, Valuations, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Investments.
• Collaborate with Agent Banks, Custodians, Fund Administrators, and Data Vendors to investigate and rectify discrepancies.
• Proactively escalate issues, providing clear context, risk implications, and suggested solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• For the Senior Analyst position, a minimum of 6 years of experience in Investment Operations, Reference/Master Data Management, Middle Office, Back Office, Fund Administration, Loan Operations, or Data Governance is required.
• Practical knowledge of at least one major asset class.
• Understanding of the financial instrument lifecycle.
• Proficient in Excel, including experience with large data sets, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Willingness and flexibility to work according to New York hours.
• Hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin, WSO, Geneva, SimCorp, or comparable platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Markit/IHS, Refinitiv Eikon/LSEG, ICE, S&P Capital IQ, PitchBook, or LSTA/LPC is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with Python or VBA is advantageous.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Understanding of Private Credit operations is a plus.
