Senior Data Engineer – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain data pipelines that cater to both data science needs and client-facing teams.

• Monitor and optimize the efficiency and stability of data pipelines.

• Assess, process, cleanse, and merge raw datasets, including those from third-party APIs.

• Create ETL processes for various data sources, including first-, second-, and third-party data.

• Suggest data storage solutions, configurations, access tools, and innovative technologies/architectures.

• Develop code-driven data transformations and aggregations in both relational and non-relational databases and data warehouses.

• Integrate data with business intelligence tools like Tableau.

• Contribute to the development of data APIs for client data ingestion into client-side applications and systems.

• Provide assistance to application developers regarding database queries and programming languages.

• Collaborate with external vendors on data engineering and architectural projects.

• Aid in managing data integrity, storage efficiency, and overall data ecosystem performance.

• Work with data systems centered around Snowflake and dbt.

• Project duration extends until the end of December.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience for a full-time role.

• 3-5+ years of expertise with dbt.

• 3+ years of experience utilizing Snowflake.

• 3+ years in constructing data pipelines or ETL processes.

• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies/infrastructure (GCP or AWS).

• 3+ years of SQL and database technologies experience.

• Proficiency in using Git/GitHub or other version control systems.

• Familiarity with Dagster or similar orchestration tools.

• Strong foundation in end-to-end development.

• Eagerness to enhance technical skills.

• Currently residing in Latin America.
