Data Engineer, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain data pipelines, databases, and analytical systems.

• Construct and manage data warehouses, data pipelines, and storage solutions for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.

• Create, implement, and uphold scalable ETL data pipelines from diverse sources into the data warehouse.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and execute solutions for data modeling, analysis, and visualization.

• Monitor the performance of pipelines and systems, troubleshoot issues, and enhance reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Identify, design, and implement internal process enhancements, encompassing infrastructure redesign, data delivery optimization, and automation of manual processes.

• Remain updated with emerging data engineering technologies and industry trends.

• Report directly to the VP of Global Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.

• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, databases, and analytical systems.

• Experience in implementing scalable data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing large volumes of both structured and unstructured data.
