Senior Data Engineer – AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the advancement of the data architecture.

• Design and sustain data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines utilizing native AWS services.

• Evaluate and suggest enhancements to AWS data solution architectures.

• Execute orchestration with AWS Step Functions and event-driven integrations employing EventBridge and AWS Lambda.

• Create ETL/ELT processes utilizing AWS Glue and PySpark.

• Develop scalable, resilient, and high-performance data processing solutions.

• Facilitate infrastructure automation and provisioning using Terraform.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the ongoing development of the client’s data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level professional experience in Data/AWS.

• Proficiency in AWS Glue (Glue Jobs, Glue ETL, and Glue Data Catalog).

• Experience with AWS Lambda.

• Familiarity with AWS Step Functions.

• Knowledge of Amazon S3.

• Understanding of Amazon EventBridge.

• Proficient in Python.

• Strong SQL skills.

• Experience with PySpark.

• Knowledge of data architectures based on the Medallion model (Bronze, Silver, and Gold).

• Understanding of Data Mesh concepts.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
