Senior System Software Engineer, Cloud Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop RESTful cloud services and frameworks for GeForce NOW.

• Build low-latency, highly available services that cater to millions of gamers.

• Design, construct, and implement scalable cloud-based systems for SaaS/PaaS solutions.

• Contribute to the advancement of the underlying technology stack.

• Collaborate with various teams to enhance new products and features.

• Lead efforts in performance tuning and automation initiatives.

• Support, maintain, and document software functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent program from an accredited University/College (or equivalent experience).

• Over 10 years of practical experience in software engineering or a related field.

• Significant experience in programming with Go and/or Java.

• Knowledge of cloud design principles, including virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and security.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies.

• Proficient with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, etc.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
