This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, specify, and provide technical guidance for new or existing information systems applications.
• Act as the lead application designer for significant modifications.
• Complete and oversee the systems analysis, design, and development for both basic and complex systems.
• Contribute as an individual contributor on complex projects.
• Direct and supervise less experienced resources while coordinating development tasks.
• Prepare and manage the technical components of project plans.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Technology teams from technical analysis through user acceptance testing.
• Prepare and review test data, execute detailed test plans, and perform debugging tasks.
• Assess relationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms.
• Provide analytical consulting and leadership on information technology solutions.
• Prepare technical and functional specifications, and update systems documentation as needed.
• Create assessments, task estimates, timelines, and effort estimates.
• Ensure efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications.
• Recommend technologies, policies, and processes, and participate in vendor software evaluations.
• Advocate for development standards and procedures.
• Maintain awareness of supported business functions, processes, and strategic direction.
• Assist with managing expense and capital budgets.
• Comply with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards, and escalate risk issues as necessary.
• Implement audit and regulatory action points.
• Undertake related duties, including due diligence, cost/benefit analysis, or business studies.
• Work under the Technology Team Lead and provide backup support to higher management as needed.
• Interact with senior management, technology personnel, clients, and vendors.
• Serve as a technical representative on committees and ad-hoc projects.
• Minimum of an Associate's degree and 5 years of experience in systems analysis/application development, or, in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience, which includes at least 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience.
• Familiarity with application development software and hardware platforms.
• Proficient with personal computers, project management, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Capable of managing multiple projects of a complex nature.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience presenting to the intended audience.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong lateral thinking skills.
• Experience coordinating between Applications and business units.
• Experience in recommending and implementing systems solutions.
• Proven track record of driving project milestones and delivery dates.
• Good understanding of the Bank's application framework.
• Subject matter expertise in the business and knowledge or experience utilizing the supported application/system.
• Advanced knowledge of supported applications and interfacing/integrated applications.
• Ability to work effectively in both team and autonomous settings.
