This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create scalable, robust, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures customized to meet client needs.
• Design and deploy cloud solutions across both public cloud and hybrid environments.
• Act as a subject matter expert in cloud services for clients and internal engineering teams.
• Engage in client meetings to convey architectural recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Develop architecture designs that cater to performance, availability, scalability, security, and operational needs.
• Implement cloud security best practices.
• Design infrastructure with a focus on monitoring, management, support, and operational requirements.
• Estimate and assist in managing cloud consumption and infrastructure expenses.
• Conduct cloud assessments to pinpoint cost optimization and resource utilization opportunities.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and implementation guidance.
• Support cloud migration efforts, including planning, assessment, architecture, and implementation.
• Design and facilitate workload migrations to public cloud environments.
• Transform architecture designs into secure and maintainable implementations in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Assist in infrastructure automation utilizing Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Aid clients in adopting emergent cloud and enterprise AI capabilities, taking into account security, governance, data protection, and responsible adoption.
• Over 3 years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex, enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Senior-level certifications in several cloud platforms, such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or AZ-305.
• Demonstrated experience leading cloud architecture initiatives for organizations or significant clients.
• Expert knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Proven experience with cloud migration strategies and execution at scale.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and compliance requirements, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
• Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring junior team members.
• Advanced automation skills with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expert understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI deployments.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Experience designing solutions in highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
• Experience in the financial sector is a plus.
• Experience working at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus.
• Expert knowledge of one or more major public cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud networking, compute, security, IAM, and cost optimization.
• Expert technical skills with Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid identity solutions.
• Proficiency in Git, version control, and Azure DevOps repositories.
• Deep understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
• Expert knowledge of Windows and Linux enterprise environments.
• Expert comprehension of Azure deployment using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Advanced understanding of Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Extensive experience administering Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficient in PowerShell and/or Python, with working knowledge of Bash and other scripting languages.
• In-depth understanding of cloud economics and enterprise-scale cost optimization.
• Expert knowledge of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management.
• Fundamental understanding of generative AI and large language models, including their limitations and mitigations.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and their security, governance, and data handling considerations.
• Understanding of AI skills and agentic behavior.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including DLP, Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, or Amazon SageMaker.
• Understanding of AI data readiness principles.
