Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines.

• Integrate various data sources and structure information within the Data Lake.

• Contribute to the advancement of data processing workflows, emphasizing reliability, performance, and maintainability.

• Collaborate on practices related to data governance, cataloging, and documentation of data flows.

• Ensure data availability for use by applications and analytics projects.

• Work closely with both technical and business teams to grasp requirements and suggest solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in Data Engineering and the development of data pipelines.

• Familiarity with cloud data environments and Data Lake architectures.

• Experience in integrating, processing, and storing data.

• Understanding of data governance, quality, and organizational practices.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with Databricks is a plus.

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure is a plus.

• Knowledge of data catalog tools is a plus.

• Awareness of Data Mesh concepts and federated governance is a plus.

• Experience in making data accessible for BI and Machine Learning solutions is a plus.
