Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance data pipelines and ETL workflows utilizing SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and Python.

• Work alongside data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into scalable data models.

• Quickly acclimate to existing and new data models to support and improve data infrastructure.

• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data across pipelines and storage solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of data pipelines and query workloads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with SQL and contemporary data warehousing solutions, ideally Snowflake.

• Practical experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.

• Proficient programming skills in Python for data engineering purposes.

• Demonstrated success in designing and managing ETL processes and scalable data pipelines.

• Capable of quickly grasping and working with intricate data models.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required; alternatively, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum experience required for the role, is necessary.
