Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytical solutions utilizing Databricks

• Write and enhance SQL, including Spark SQL, and Python scripts for data processing and analysis

• Collaborate with developers and IT teams to execute data analytics initiatives

• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies in data workflows

• Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards

• Contribute to standards for data modeling, data management, and data governance

• Engage in daily technical tasks, beyond just design and oversight

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in Latin America

• Proficient in English at a business level

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or in a similar capacity

• Background in software development and IT projects related to data analytics

• Practical programming expertise in SQL and Python, along with experience collaborating with developers

• Strong understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD practices

• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks

• Advanced user-level familiarity with cloud services and platforms

• Experience with visualization tools, particularly Power BI

• Solid comprehension of data modeling, data management, and data governance
