Senior Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Design and construct robust, scalable data pipelines and data solutions.

• Develop and sustain data solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other contemporary data stack components.

• Create and enhance ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformations, and data models.

• Implement access controls, CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and data quality assessments.

• Establish and oversee data observability and monitoring systems.

• Integrate data from both internal and external sources while ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to convert data into valuable insights.

• Directly influence the company-wide data platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and solutions.

• Proficient in SQL with experience in managing large and complex datasets.

• Practical experience with ETL/ELT processes, data integration, data transformation, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and cloud data ecosystems.

• Solid understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.

• Experience in data infrastructure, DevOps for data, and modern engineering workflows, including CI/CD and Git.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, access management, and data quality.

• Proficient in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing data pipelines and workloads.

• Enthusiasm for problem-solving and creating clean, efficient, and scalable systems.
