This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Create and implement data pipelines for reporting and advanced analytics.
• Conduct data ingestion, transformation, validation, quality management, optimization, and orchestration.
• Collaborate with the DevSecOps Engineer during continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain existing ETL processes in an AWS cloud environment utilizing Snowflake and Teradata.
• Lead the design and execution of data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction procedures.
• Offer expertise on large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for business intelligence analytics.
• Architect, develop, and sustain real-time processing applications and data pipelines using Snowflake and Teradata.
• Ensure the integrity of technical solutions across Centene’s AWS cloud environments.
• Provide senior-level insights regarding data processing, storage, utilization requirements, and evolving data environments.
• Design, build, test, and uphold architectures using advanced programming languages and tools.
• Enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality; identify automation opportunities.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
• 4–6 years of relevant experience or equivalent expertise gained through applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skills reflective of this position's level.
• Proficiency in Big Data and data processing.
• Familiarity with Control-M Scheduling.
• Experience in diagnosing system issues, conducting data validation, and performing quality assurance testing.
• Skilled in data manipulation and data mining.
• Experience working in a production cloud (AWS) infrastructure.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Servers.
• Ability to identify basic problems and procedural inconsistencies, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
