This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.
• Design, develop, and sustain data pipelines utilizing AI agents to generate code.
• Create algorithms that convert data into actionable insights.
• Analyze data to pinpoint problems and establish the logic for intricate functions and scripts.
• Oversee and validate AI-generated solutions to ensure simplicity, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Take ownership of data modeling and data quality as the authority behind AI-generated outcomes.
• Investigate new data sources and incorporate them into data products.
• Collaborate with data CI/CD processes, including testing and monitoring.
• Develop prototypes and documentation for essential aspects of the projects.
• Contribute to data models, ETL pipelines, and services for a global client in the financial sector.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or other quantitative fields.
• Significant practical experience with dbt and SQL.
• Familiarity with or strong enthusiasm for AI-driven/agentic development.
• Proficient in directing and validating AI-generated code.
• Capability to establish and contribute to an effective agentic framework.
• Demonstrated experience with Python programming; knowledge of PySpark is a bonus.
• Background in software development, with an understanding of design patterns and unit testing.
• Proven track record with CI/CD processes related to data, as well as data testing and monitoring.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, data quality, and data architecture.
• Understanding of system design, data structures, algorithms, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in agile projects using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is a plus.
• Background in the insurance/reinsurance or financial industry is advantageous.
• English communication skills at B2/C1 level.
• Candidates must currently live in Portugal or Spain.
