Senior Data Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain data pipelines to facilitate efficient data lake ingestion.

• Enhance existing ETL processes to integrate new data sources in line with regional product expansion.

• Oversee system performance and troubleshoot production issues by tracking data flow through the pipelines.

• Identify root causes and address production issues to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Develop scalable and efficient data solutions utilizing Python and distributed data processing.

• Administer and optimize the data warehousing environment for performance and scalability.

• Utilize SQL for data transformation and analysis to support business decision-making.

• Implement data quality management procedures and data profiling throughout the data lifecycle.

• Collaborate with software development and solutions architecture teams on data structures and integrations.

• Contribute to the definition, development, and documentation of data architecture.

• Advocate for best practices in data lakes, warehouses, batch processing, and real-time processing.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced or fluent English (C1 or above) is essential for daily collaboration with global stakeholders.

• Practical experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines for data lake ingestion.

• Familiarity with managed orchestration, storage, and serverless compute services.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Experience with a distributed data processing framework.

• Strong SQL capabilities for data transformation and analysis.

• Experience managing and interacting with databases through query and administration tools.

• Ability to operate with a high level of technical autonomy.

• Strong judgment regarding the quality, format, and accuracy of incoming data.

• Comfort with established cloud-based technology stacks.
