This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Design, develop, and evaluate innovative data management solutions, encompassing data acquisition, integration, and transformation pipelines utilizing Microsoft Azure PaaS tools and DevOps methodologies.
• Construct data architectures and pipelines to facilitate "Data as a Service" across various business units, ensuring scalability, dependability, and efficiency.
• Create and evaluate infrastructure components within cloud and edge environments, utilizing Azure ADF, ADLS, Databricks, and SAP Data Services.
• Oversee DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, while implementing containerization strategies to support scalable deployments.
• Work collaboratively with analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to identify requirements, produce high-quality code, and assist with application enhancements.
• Report directly to the Technical Leader for the Common Data Model / Common Data Layer team.
• Partner with technical leads, analysts, architects, and product owners to foster enterprise data-driven innovation.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent amount of relevant professional experience.
• Typically requires over 8 years of relevant experience in data or software engineering.
• Familiarity with the full systems development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in data management technologies such as Azure ADF, ADLS, SQL, Databricks, SAP Data Services, and tabular models.
• Strong comprehension of server-side architectures, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and swiftly adapt to new technologies and business requirements.
• Knowledge of open-source data management tools and industry-specific programming languages.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to convert data into actionable insights.
• Ability to distill complex data into concise narratives and recommendations.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture and experience with cross-functional collaboration in a global setting.
