Senior Data Analyst, Tableau

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and develop executive, analytical, and operational dashboards in Tableau, focusing on clarity, usability, and storytelling.

• Utilize storytelling and data visualization principles to enhance the interpretation of information and facilitate decision-making.

• Suggest and advocate for standards in the visualization of KPIs, indicators, executive reports, and analytical dashboards.

• Engage in defining layouts, navigation, user experience, and methods for consuming information.

• Analyze and optimize existing dashboards to enhance their performance, comprehension, usability, and maintainability.

• Participate in the preparation, transformation, and publication of data for consumption in Tableau.

• Work with Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud for content publication and distribution.

• Provide technical and functional support to other members of the BI team.

• Collaborate on best practices concerning content governance, permissions, publication, and data source management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, or similar roles.

• Advanced and hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop.

• Proven experience in dashboard design utilizing Data Storytelling.

• Familiarity with Tableau Prep.

• Knowledge and experience working with .hyper files.

• Experience with Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud.

• Strong understanding of data visualization, indicator design, and user experience.

• Experience optimizing dashboards to improve performance, usability, and maintainability.

• Ability to translate business needs into clear and effective visualization solutions.

• Strong communication skills and ability to provide technical and functional support.
