Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise Identity Security solutions within a complex healthcare setting.

• Engineer and manage solutions utilizing SailPoint ISC, Okta, Active Directory, and Entra ID.

• Create and execute JML, provisioning/deprovisioning, access certification, RBAC, SSO, MFA, federation, and entitlement governance functionalities.

• Integrate enterprise and clinical applications via SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, and REST APIs.

• Implement least privilege and Zero Trust principles across workforce, partner, vendor, and application identities.

• Automate identity processes to enhance reliability, scalability, and auditability of access controls.

• Resolve complex provisioning, directory, authentication, and access challenges across interconnected platforms.

• Collaborate with application, clinical technology, architecture, compliance, and cybersecurity teams.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA-related regulatory and audit standards while safeguarding sensitive healthcare information.

• Deliver senior-level technical leadership, engineering standards, design reviews, and mentorship.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Extensive experience in Identity Security, IAM, or cybersecurity engineering.

• Proficient hands-on experience with SailPoint ISC, Okta, Active Directory, and/or Entra ID.

• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, RBAC, SSO, MFA, and federation.

• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM, APIs, and directory technologies.

• Experience in integrating applications into enterprise Identity Security ecosystems.

• Prior experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.

• Experience in securing clinical and healthcare applications is highly desirable.

• Exceptional automation, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving abilities.

• Home internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Capability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
