Senior Cybersecurity Consultant – MS Copilot, Power Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the evaluation of current security tools and pinpoint deficiencies in relation to AI-specific risk areas for Power Platform and Copilot.

• Determine and prioritize security measures in accordance with Microsoft security standards and industry-leading practices.

• Set up, assess, and document controls across chosen AI use cases within Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Dataverse, Entra, Purview, and associated Microsoft security tools.

• Create comprehensive control specifications and integrate implemented controls into existing architectural documentation.

• Supervise and evaluate the activities of supporting consultants in their workstreams.

• Facilitate client-facing knowledge transfer sessions to enable the client security team to manage controls and the intake process autonomously.

• Act as the main point of contact and escalation route with client security and platform teams.

• Update engagement leadership on workstream status and associated risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 7 years of experience in cybersecurity/GRC, with proven leadership in a technical security workstream.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience configuring security controls directly within Microsoft Power Platform and/or Copilot environments.

• Extensive hands-on technical expertise with Microsoft Copilot, including Copilot Studio, and Power Platform, specifically Power Automate and Dataverse.

• Capability to independently explore Microsoft platforms to identify applicable controls and configure/enable them directly.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra and Purview and their integration with Power Platform/Copilot environments.

• Proven experience in security control design, testing, and the creation of runbooks/technical documentation.

• Strong communication skills for client interaction, including leading working sessions and conducting knowledge transfers.

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

• Previous experience in federal contracting is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Microsoft SC-900/SC-401, or equivalent are preferred.

• Knowledge of AI/ML security risk domains and Microsoft security benchmarks/baselines is preferred.

• Experience in directing or mentoring junior consultants within a workstream is preferred.

• All responsibilities associated with this role must be conducted within the continental U.S. upon hiring.
