Cyber Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and vulnerabilities across various codebases.

• Develop new features and enhance existing functionality utilizing Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.

• Refactor outdated code to enhance maintainability, security, and performance.

• Conduct codebase audits, penetration testing, and other security assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

• Contribute to backend development while optimizing application performance for scalability and security.

• Document findings, recommend improvements, and provide real-world insights to enhance AI training datasets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.

• Demonstrated experience in debugging, fixing bugs, and backend development for complex systems.

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity practices, including penetration testing, security audits, and vulnerability assessments.

• Skilled in algorithms, codebase refactoring, and optimizing software for enhanced performance and security.

• Capability to communicate complex technical findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Familiarity with secure software development lifecycles and contemporary threat landscapes.

• Experience with AI-related or data-driven projects is an advantage, though not mandatory.
