Cybersecurity Consultant – MS Copilot, Power Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in evaluating current security tools and pinpoint gaps related to AI-specific risk areas for Power Platform and Copilot.

• Aid in identifying security controls that align with Microsoft security standards and industry best practices.

• Support the configuration and activation of security controls within Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Dataverse, Entra, Purview, and associated Microsoft security tools.

• Carry out control configuration, testing, and documentation/runbook tasks for designated AI use cases.

• Record control specifications and maintain supporting evidence documentation.

• Overlay implemented controls on existing architecture documentation.

• Prepare for and engage in knowledge transfer sessions with the client's security team.

• Collaborate with client security and platform teams during the configuration and validation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, including some background in security control design or implementation.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse) sufficient for configuring controls with guidance.

• Familiarity with Microsoft security suite tools (Entra, Purview) and their integration with Power Platform/Copilot environments.

• Experience in supporting technical documentation, control testing, or runbook development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing collaborative sessions.

• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.

• Previous experience with federal contracting engagements is preferred.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Microsoft SC-900, or equivalent) are preferred.

• Familiarity with AI/ML security risk domains is preferred.

• Experience with security reviews for chatbot, RPA, or analytics/ML use cases is preferred.
