Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product and Infrastructure teams to develop secure platforms and infrastructure.

• Execute system engineering and implementation initiatives.

• Perform in-depth security reviews.

• Contribute to decisions regarding system design.

• Lead efforts to enhance critical infrastructure continuously.

• Establish and create infrastructure and application guardrails to enable developers to build securely by default.

• Foster a culture of secure system design throughout the engineering teams.

• Enhance and develop Headway’s cloud security posture across AWS.

• Innovate AI-native methods for configuration standards, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.

• Support incident response, vulnerability management, security reviews, and other security operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security and/or software engineering roles.

• Proven track record of working on security-related projects or holding responsibilities as a security generalist.

• In-depth technical expertise in building secure platforms and products.

• Experience in conducting security design and code reviews.

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud security.

• Proficiency in Python 3 and/or TypeScript.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
