Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish and enhance the Cybersecurity practice in Stuttgart.

• Proactively design structures and processes.

• Provide guidance on governance, compliance, and regulatory obligations, including DORA, NIS2, and ISO 27001.

• Prepare for audits effectively.

• Highlight key action areas during workshops for decision-makers.

• Plan and execute penetration tests.

• Oversee vulnerability management initiatives.

• Conduct re-tests exclusively within the EU.

• Assist Secure SDLC projects through architecture reviews, secure coding coaching, and security checks in CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform SAST and DAST analyses.

• Contribute to projects in the financial services sector, critical infrastructure (KRITIS), and public administration.

• Work collaboratively within an international delivery model alongside teams in the DACH region, Sweden, and Egypt.

• Create methodologies, templates, and best practices.

• Assist in PreSales activities, including proposals, scoping, and client presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field is required.

• Strong experience in security advisory, offensive security, or Secure SDLC.

• Expertise in ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, penetration testing methodologies, SAST/DAST, or vulnerability management.

• Quick learner with strategic thinking capabilities and robust analytical skills.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical subjects clearly, including to management.

• Willingness to travel regularly for business purposes.

• Proficient in German (C1 level).

• Fluent in English at a business level.

• Clean criminal record is essential.

• Commitment to conducting re-tests exclusively within the EU.
