
Senior Customer Success Engineer – West, California

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the main technical authority on the Cyera Platform.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with clients, ranging from practitioners to top executives.
• Facilitate customer onboarding and training to enhance adoption.
• Comprehend customer needs, challenges, and anticipated business results.
• Create and present tailored use cases utilizing a consultative methodology.
• Promote long-term platform adoption, customer value, return on investment, and ongoing engagement and growth.
• Identify and address barriers to customer success collaboratively with peers.
• Champion customer feedback to influence Cyera’s product roadmap and development.
• Utilize self-paced training materials to aid customer education.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting customers.
• Track and report on customer health and usage metrics.
• Develop collaborative success plans with customers.
• Document and disseminate best practices both internally and externally.
• Mentor colleagues and support their professional growth.
• Take part in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to identify areas for improvement and collaboration.
• Travel 25–50% annually to engage directly with clients.
• An Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field is advantageous.
• 12 years of experience showcasing strong project management capabilities.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data technologies and cloud solutions, including databases, cloud infrastructure, and basic administration.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or similar.
• Practical experience with cloud environments.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages.
• Knowledge of APIs and web services.
• Preferred expertise in DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management.
• Previous collaboration experience with Development teams.
• Prior experience in a technical customer-facing role within a software company.
• Proven track record of managing customer relationships, including onboarding, renewals, and expansions.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects concurrently.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-driven startup environment.
• Results-oriented approach with a history of driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and retention.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative team player.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relation abilities.
