This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of the operational aspects of the creative workflow from initiation to delivery.
• Act as a key operations partner for intricate creative projects, including advertising campaigns, videos, podcasts, social media initiatives, and other creative ventures.
• Create project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and milestones while ensuring accurate project information and status is maintained in management tools.
• Oversee the weekly intake process for the Creative Team, ensuring projects are well-defined, scoped, prioritized, and ready for launch.
• Detect and address gaps, risks, capacity limitations, dependencies, and possible impacts on timelines.
• Collaborate with Creative Leads and cross-functional teams to align business needs, resources, and deadlines effectively.
• Lead project kickoffs and weekly status meetings; document deliverables, responsibilities, timelines, decisions, and next steps.
• Provide consistent project updates and reports on priorities, project health, overdue items, at-risk tasks, blocked work, or impacted projects.
• Elevate complex or high-impact issues to the Director of Creative Operations with context and suggested resolutions.
• Seek opportunities to enhance workflows, refine processes, and boost operational effectiveness.
• Independently manage multiple creative projects from initiation to completion.
• Cultivate relationships with Creative Leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Enhance and document Creative Operations processes while developing scalable onboarding materials.
• Implement improvements that foster efficiency, clarity, and predictability throughout the creative workflow.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in project or creative operations within an advertising agency, design studio, creative department, or similar setting.
• Proven experience in managing multiple creative projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong comprehension of creative workflows and the ability to convert business needs into clear, actionable project plans.
• Familiarity with project management platforms like Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com, or similar tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and remarkable attention to detail.
• Ability to stay calm, resourceful, and solution-focused under tight deadlines or changing priorities.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills across both Creative and non-Creative teams.
• Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Capacity to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding company and manage diverse challenges, deadlines, and contacts.
• Must be located within one hour of Eastern Time (US).
• Must possess authorization to work in the US at the time of hire.
