Senior CRA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the entire process of data collection, geocoding, and validation for both commercial and Community Development loans.

• Assess, analyze, and document eligible Community Development loans, investments, and service initiatives.

• Manage the Bank’s CRA Public File effectively.

• Collect, clean, and submit annual small business loan registers.

• Keep accurate records of qualified donations, sponsorships, and volunteer service hours.

• Gather historical performance data, conduct peer analyses, and establish baseline metrics for the CRA Strategic Plan.

• Create and maintain dashboards to track progress towards CRA Strategic Plan goals.

• Monitor changes in CRA regulations and provide guidance on necessary process modifications.

• Collect documentation, organize technical request lists, and prepare data files for internal audits and OCC examinations.

• Work collaboratively with teams in commercial underwriting, SBA lending, and treasury.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in CRA compliance, data analysis, or commercial loan compliance within a regulated financial institution.

• Proficient in handling large datasets, utilizing geocoding tools, and working with reporting software.

• Comprehensive and current knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act, small business loan technical reporting requirements, and updates to regulatory modernization.

• Proven experience in using AI to document and organize community development efforts.

• Strong understanding of commercial loan files and SBA loan structures (7(a) and 504).

• Familiarity with commercial loan systems such as nCino.

• Capable of independently managing data compliance projects and coordinating requests across multiple departments with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, public policy, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as CRCM are advantageous.
