Senior Health Care Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Provides analytical support for financial modeling, trend analysis, therapeutic class strategy, and the implementation and measurement of initiatives.

• Develops financial models to forecast costs or estimate savings for informed business decisions.

• Creates and oversees therapeutic class cost and utilization projection models for budget forecasting, pricing, and strategy formulation.

• Generates exception reports and conducts detailed analyses to identify opportunities and risks for assessment by the Strategy Development Committee.

• Tracks projection targets and analyzes, researches, and interprets results, variances, and trends.

• Prepares and maintains strategic documents for therapeutic classes.

• Communicates trend analysis and recommendations to committees, clinical staff, management, and clients.

• Develops and maintains reporting templates to analyze and interpret data effectively.

• Designs complex ad hoc reports for various functional areas.

• Provides guidance to Healthcare Analysts on report production and data interpretation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, public health, health informatics, or a related field is required.

• A Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least five years of relevant experience is required.

• A minimum of two years of financial modeling experience is required.

• Experience in healthcare analytics involving financial and clinical data is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with analytical or data mining techniques, including data modeling, trend analysis, and root-cause analysis, is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in using advanced analytical/reporting tools such as R, Python, SAS, SQL, Microstrategy, Tableau, Hadoop, or similar tools is strongly preferred.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
