📋 Description

• Assist clinical research initiatives throughout the Providence Health System

• Create Medicare Coverage Analyses for clinical trial protocols that include billable services

• Conduct thorough Medicare Coverage Analyses in accordance with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy

• Assess national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed studies, and both local and national coverage determinations

• Consider all billable services within clinical trial protocols

• Collaborate with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams

• Ensure adherence to federal regulations and internal policies

• Report directly to the Coverage Analysis Manager

• Work in partnership with research organizations within Providence

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field, or 4 years of additional relevant experience

• 2 years of hands-on experience in Coverage Analysis development and interpretation of Medicare requirements for research

• 4 years of experience in research, billing, or healthcare administration is preferred

• Familiarity with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy

• Capability to interpret national medical guidelines, local practice guidelines, peer-reviewed publications, and local and national coverage determinations

• Ability to collaborate effectively with CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams

• Ability to comply with federal regulations and internal policies

• Must maintain standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality
