Senior Corporate Strategist

📋 Description

• Conduct in-depth research on target companies and markets, examining business models, cost structures, competitive dynamics, partnerships, technology strategies, procurement trends, and articulated strategies.

• Develop market sizing, pricing, cost-to-serve, unit economics, and scenario models from the ground up.

• Create comprehensive strategy presentations from start to finish, which include structuring arguments, crafting narratives, selecting supporting evidence, and designing charts and slides for senior-level audiences.

• Manage workstreams related to market entry, city sequencing, build-versus-buy-versus-partner evaluations, competitive positioning, and capital allocation.

• Integrate public filings, earnings calls, industry analyses, expert consultations, operational data, partner insights, and technical background into actionable recommendations.

• Prepare materials for board members, investors, and executive teams.

• Monitor trends in autonomous delivery, last-mile logistics, robotics, and related mobility sectors.

• Assess the scale, viability, and resource needs of new initiatives.

• Oversee a portfolio of rapidly evolving workstreams alongside the Chief Strategy Officer and manage requests from commercial and functional leaders.

• Assist in enterprise and new vertical ventures, robotics, data and teleoperation solutions, autonomy-related initiatives, and other strategic projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a related field.

• Strong research aptitude, with a proven ability to form a solid thesis about a company within approximately one week.

• Proficiency in Excel modeling, including the ability to create models from scratch and justify each assumption.

• Expertise in slide design, capable of constructing presentations that a C-suite audience can follow without supplementary narration.

• Exceptional writing skills, with the capability to formulate and defend an argument in written form.

• Sound judgment to balance competing priorities among two senior stakeholders and to escalate issues promptly when they arise.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and open to having conclusions challenged and revised.

• Independent thinker.

• Comfortable addressing broad, open-ended strategic inquiries.

• MBA or equivalent analytical training is preferred.

• Experience in startups, logistics, last-mile delivery, marketplaces, mobility, or robotics is advantageous.

• Background in supporting senior executives during high-stakes partner meetings and commercial negotiations at a rapidly growing company is preferred.

• Previous experience in consulting, banking, or a similar analytically intensive strategic role is a plus.
