This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the complete vendor contracting process, which includes pricing, commercial terms, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS and cloud agreements, order forms, DPAs, amendments, renewals, and various vendor agreements.
• Evaluate and negotiate provisions related to information security, data protection, confidentiality, insurance, liability, and other associated risks.
• Discuss commercial terms, pinpoint cost-saving or avoidance strategies, and escalate any exceptions that fall outside of established authority.
• Actively manage the renewal of contracts, obligations, and crucial timelines.
• Handle daily Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) tasks, which encompass vendor intake, risk assessment, due diligence coordination, documentation, monitoring, and reassessments.
• Ensure compliance with subcontracting plans, including documentation, tracking, deadlines, and reporting.
• Keep accurate records of contracts, TPRM, and compliance for reporting, regulatory adherence, and audit preparedness.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders during negotiations to grasp business requirements, assess terms and trade-offs, incorporate feedback, and finalize agreements.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and assist with additional contracting and compliance initiatives.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contracts, procurement, compliance, third-party risk management, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience in independently reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts and NDAs across various types of agreements.
• Proven experience in assessing and negotiating vendor provisions concerning information security, data protection, confidentiality, and risk management.
• Basic understanding of third-party risk management, vendor due diligence, and common information security concepts and terminology.
• Capability to independently manage multiple contracts, renewals, compliance tasks, and deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management, task/workflow management, CRM, or similar business systems.
• Skilled in using AI tools for professional tasks, including the ability to critically assess and validate AI-generated outputs.
• Experience in supporting TPRM operations, including vendor intake, due diligence, monitoring, or reassessments.
• Familiarity with GSA subcontracting plan requirements or experience in supporting compliance with subcontracting plans.
• Possession of a current recognized TPRM certification, or a willingness to obtain one within six months of hire with Fortress sponsorship.
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• Must pass a drug test if a conditional offer is extended.
