This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of the content roadmap and the strategic vision behind it.
• Communicate the TextExpander narrative to diverse audiences across various sectors, including healthcare, customer support, legal, insurance, and education.
• Determine which content should be created, in what formats, and the rationale behind these decisions.
• Establish a unique TextExpander voice.
• Create written materials such as blogs, comparison and category pages, customer success stories, and narratives for product launches.
• Oversee or produce video content for YouTube, product demonstrations, and short social media clips.
• Develop audio content, webinars, live presentations, templates, Snippet libraries, calculators, and detailed analyses.
• Manage freelancers, editors, video production teams, and agency collaborators.
• Control content distribution through organic social channels, email marketing, lifecycle campaigns, community engagement, syndication, and in-product displays.
• Create a content repurposing system for derivative placements.
• Collaborate on creator and PR projects, including sponsored and co-created content, as well as earned media.
• Work with the Director of Search Experience to enhance content for organic reach and AI-generated answer surfaces.
• Take responsibility for metrics related to reach, trial initiations, activations, purchases, and revenue linked to content.
• Provide reports on content-driven and content-influenced sales pipelines.
• Utilize HubSpot, Sigma, Mixpanel, and Ahrefs to assess performance, phase out ineffective content, and set future targets.
• Report on channel contributions to the VP of Marketing and the senior leadership team.
• Build the content and distribution framework from the ground up.
• A minimum of 5 years in B2B content marketing.
• Experience in a self-service or product-led SaaS environment.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong work across multiple media formats.
• Proven ability to engage a challenging audience with content.
• Skills in analyzing content distribution outcomes and identifying impactful factors.
• Data literacy with the capability to extract and interpret metrics that forecast revenue.
• Experience in briefing, editing, and upholding quality standards with freelancers, creators, or agencies.
• Proficient writing abilities and sound editorial judgment.
• Competence in using AI while preserving an authentic brand voice.
• Capability to work independently within a small team with wide-ranging responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience in video production or editing (preferred).
• Proven experience with SEO and AEO in a post-AI search environment (preferred).
• PR experience with a history of distributing content through earned and third-party channels (preferred).
