ELA Content Teacher – Teaching Management Lead Track

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Instruct online English Language Arts (ELA) classes with an emphasis on Reading & Speaking as well as Reading & Writing skills.

• Create and present well-organized lessons utilizing Think Academy's curriculum materials.

• Actively engage with and oversee a virtual classroom of approximately 10 students.

• Assess student assignments, provide timely feedback, and monitor student progress.

• Maintain professional communication with students and parents regarding educational objectives and performance.

• Participate in ongoing teacher training, curriculum meetings, and professional growth opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level English speaker with a strong command of American English.

• Preferred experience in U.S. public/private/charter school ELA teaching, ideally focused on grades 1–4.

• A bachelor's degree in any field is required; candidates with degrees in Education, ELA, or English are preferred.

• Solid understanding of elementary reading instruction, literacy progression, and writing assistance.

• Proficient with online teaching technologies and virtual classroom management.

• Willingness to commit to at least one complete semester is preferred.
